Marcia Myers

Marcia Myers (1949-2008) was a prolific American artist who was active for approximately thirty years before her early death. She  is predominantly known for her fresco paintings. Myers studied at the Philadelphia College of Art; George Washington University, D.C.; and the Corcoran School of Art, aslo in D.C. In addition, she received a Fulbright Grant to study in Florence, Italy, where she continued to pursue her long-time interest in Roman murals and fresco techniques, visiting ruins at Pompeii and Herculaneum.
